Subject: Fixed: [short description of the problem]

Hi [Name], Good news: the [problem you reported] is fixed in [Product] [version number], which is out now. To get it, [open Product and choose Check for Updates / download it from link]. Once you are on [version number], [the thing that was broken] should work as expected. Thank you for reporting it, and for the detail you sent. It made the bug much quicker to find. If anything still looks wrong after the update, reply to this email and I will take another look. [Your name]

Before you send it

  • Reply in their thread rather than starting a new email, so they see what they asked right under your answer.
  • Add one detail only you know: the version, the date they wrote, what they were trying to do. That is what makes a template read as a reply.
  • Read the guidance for the situation. Each one has a page with when to use which version and what to leave out, listed in the customer support email templates.

Questions people ask

Is this customer service email generator free?

Yes. There is no account, no limit and no AI charge behind it, because it builds your email from written templates rather than generating text. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Does it use AI?

No. It fills in templates written for software founders, which means it will never promise a refund, a date or a feature on your behalf that you did not type yourself. If you want a different tone, pick a different version of the same situation.

What happens to the blanks I leave empty?

They stay in square brackets in the finished email, so a half-finished reply looks half-finished rather than real. Fill them, or delete the line if it does not apply.

Can I save my name and product?

Your name, the product name and the customer name are remembered in this browser between templates and visits, so you do not retype them. They are stored only on your device.
